  • Monitoring the impact of 1080 and the reinvasion rate

    DOC AI Cams are used to monitor an area of bush near Kauri Mountain in Northland during a 1080 treatment. The cameras provide an easy way to see the impact of the 1080 and rates at which the animals return. They also provide a great way to measure the impact on bird life.

  • Our low-light solar design

    We are working on a solar battery pack for the DOC AI Cam that will be lighter and easier to carry than our existing batteries. It will be flexible with the number of batteries and size of solar panel. Using recycled batteries from Lime scooters will keep the cost down. The batteries will charge in low light conditions.
