Battery reading quicker and more accurate

We have released a software update for the DOC AI Cam that reads the battery voltage immediately on power up and has an improved algorithm for detecting the battery chemistry. Any cameras that are connected to the internet (via SIM or Wi-Fi) should update overnight.

Faster reading

Before this update it would take a couple of minutes before the battery reading was updated. This would be frustrating if you had changed batteries you would see the battery reading from the previous battery. Now you can plug the camera in, connect your phone and see the battery percentage and voltage straight away.

Battery chemistry

The DOC AI Cam automatically detects the battery chemistry and number of cells based on the voltage. There was a bug where it would assume the battery had 8 cells once it got below a certain voltage and suddenly show a higher percentage reading. This would cause much confusion because you would see a jump up in battery percentage without swapping batteries. This has now been corrected.
