The thermal camera typically uses about 3GB of data/month. This can vary a lot depending on how your camera is set up and how often it is used. It will use more if it is recording day and night. If you're recording audio it will use approximately another 1GB. If there is a lot of movement, say from foliage, waves, vehicles or people then this can be considerably more. We have seen more than 70GB used per month. This can be minimised by pointing your camera down so there is no sky and away from water and areas of activity you're not interest in.
You can use your own SIM card, or purchase a data plan from us here. We will invoice you monthly. We use the Spark Network and so you will need to have Spark coverage for your camera to have a connection. You can advise us if you'd like to move up or down plans.
If you don't have a SIM card we will send you one. You need to have a camera with a modem. If you don't have a modem in your camera then you will need to purchase one separately.
