Monitoring Kārearea/New Zealand Falcon

The DOC AI Cam can identify the call of the New Zealand Falcon/Kārearea. This is the bird of the year for 2025. This is one that was identified in Bluff Hill/Motopōhue. We weren't 100% sure about this, but thought it was worth sharing. They do see kārearea on the hill.

Update: We've been advised this is most likely a brown creeper/pīpipi, along with tūī in the background. We will share a better example once we get one.
