Refurbished Lime batteries now for sale

We now have a new battery available to power the thermal predator camera and the high interaction rate trap.

These are refurbished Lime scooter batteries, kindly donated by Lime. We have repackaged them  in waterproof containers, added connectors and electronics to bring the voltage down to 12 volts. The result is a battery and charger that is cheaper for our customers and more environmentally friendly (through re-use), with slightly more capacity.

The development was done by the engineers at The Cacophony Project and all the technology is open source. The development and refurbishment was all done in Christchurch.

This is a great result all round. Thank you Lime and The Cacophony Project.
