This may be when it’s down a gully or just on the edge of coverage. The extender can be positioned where it has coverage and the Wi-Fi broadcast to the camera. The range of the Wi-Fi will vary with conditions but has been able to connect with a direct line of sight 150m away under ideal conditions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJust like the solar battery pack this can be supplied with batteries in New Zealand, or you can insert your own Lithium Ion batteries.  It can be purchased with a solar panel, or just a plug, so you can attach your own panel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith no charging, the module will stay powered for about 2 days. This will vary depending on the strength of the 4G signal and the amount of data transmitted.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy default the WiFi network is set up as a bushnet network that the DOC AI Cam will connect to, with no setup.
