How to upload logs from your DOC AI Cam
Occasionally, if your camera has been behaving strangely, it is useful for our engineers to get a little more information about what has been going on in the camera. The camera software logs a lot of detail about what it has been doing and stores it on the camera. You can upload these logs and then an engineer can analyse them to try to understand what has been going on.
If we ask you to upload the logs, please follow these instructions:
- Make sure your camera is connected to the internet: either it has a SIM card with a connection, or it is connected to a Wi-Fi network (this could be a hotspot on your phone)
- Connect your camera to the Sidekick app
- On the General Tab, click Advanced.
- Click on the Advanced blue button
- Click on the About blue button
- Click on the Upload logs button
- Wait until a message pops up saying that the logs are uploaded
